Mareblu Also Launches eBook

Italian tuna brand, Mareblu, has announced the launch of a new, free downloadable recipe eBook.  Edited by chefs, the online cookbook offers quick meal ideas that include Mareblu tuna products.

The eBook is accompanied by bright photographs of various tuna delicacies that consumers can create by following simple steps. By clicking on the Mareblu tab on the right hand side of the homepage, or liking the Mareblu page on Facebook, within seconds visitors can have an array of meal ideas at their fingertips.

Closely trailing the launch of Rio Mare’s recipe eBook, Mareblu has joined the leading Italian brand by offering consumers a 30 page online source of varieties of ways to enjoy its tuna products. Its collaboration with, with its own dedicated section of the site, allows the company to promote its claimed commitment to high quality, safety, traceability and eco-sustainability alongside the promotion of the diversity of its products’ consumption.

Creating an online community through the launch of recipe eBooks seems to be a catching craze, with US brand, BumbleBee tuna offering the initiative to its consumers since earlier this year, and Rio Mare and Mareblu now following suit.

Giovanni Battista Valsecchi, general manager of Mareblu, said: “The collaboration stems from the desire to communicate with the public foodie and cooking enthusiasts in a direct manner. And is the perfect place, being the most important in the Web community dedicated to Italian cuisine, with nearly 1.3 million unique users per month and over 240,000 registered users of the forum. With our recipes we want to show the many different occasions of use of our products, from appetizers and finger food to pasta dishes and salads.”
