Saupiquet Launces New ‘Cooked At Heart’ Tuna Range

Blue for natural, yellow for lemon, and basil and green for rosemary and parsley are the colors of the new range of Saupiquet canned tuna, Cuit à Cœur.

As founding members of the International Seafood Sustainability Foundation (ISSF) French brand, Saupiquet offers a complete range of seafood products made with tuna, sardines and mackerel, that are all fished and produced in an environmentally and socially responsible way.

Consumers are attracted by the fresh colored lithographed 2 piece cans that drive the advertisement of these three new products, at the proposed retail price of EURO 2.20 for a 160g can.

The name of the range, translating to ‘cooked at heart’ is said to evoke the sweetness of the product, the choice of packaging and the use of the skipjack tuna species.

The new line of canned tuna will be available to the European market immediately and is said to allow an ingredient of choice for customers with imagination when it comes to recipes.
