Bumble Bee eBook Aims At Making Americans Healthier

Bumble Bee Foods has released the autumn edition of its BeeWell for Life eBook which is striving to promote sustainable foods and a healthy lifestyle. Following its launch this spring, the autumn publication of its eBook is full of cold weather work-out tips and healthy recipes including tuna.

Being one of the US big three tuna brands, Bumble Bee scatters the shelves of American supermarkets. It offers a full line of canned and pouch tuna.

In its eBook magazine it states that the BeeWell for Life program “is an interactive, signature consumer program by Bumble Bee Foods developed to inspire people to be active, eat healthier and give back.

“The BeeWell program encourages consumers to be active and earn ‘points’ for charities by logging exercise/activities and completing weekly challenges. Points then translate to donations earned for their choice of one or both of BeeWell for Life’s charity partners.”

Providing healthy tuna recipes to encourage a healthy lifestyle, Bumble Bee says that BeeWell for Life is at the heart of its mission. They are said to compliment the American lifestyle. Better-for-you, easy-to-prepare foods that are affordable are included in the autumn edition, aimed to target people who are concerned about health and stretched for time.

Noted at the beginning of the publication, Bumble Bee stresses the health benefits of tuna that is rich in lean protein and omega-3 fatty acids. “Think of them as great-tasting meal solutions that also help to address a number of growing health concerns among Americans.”
