Europe’s Tuna Awards 2013 Call For Entries

Tuna companies can showcase their latest products and marketing campaigns in front of 300 industry members in Brussels, Belgium this April for a chance to win top honors at Europe’s 2013 Tuna Awards.

The competition, where tuna products and tuna TV ads will be judged by an expert panel, will be held in conjunction with the European Tuna Conference 2013 on April 22 at the Sheraton Hotel Brussels City Center. All entries will be featured during the day.

Winners will be announced at the end of the Conference and prizes will be awarded in two categories: Best Quality Tuna Product and Best Tuna TV Commercial.

Previous winners include Spanish tuna brand Isabel for its “Tuna Balls in Tomato Sauce” product and Spain’s Calvo, the two-time winner of the “Best Tuna TV Commercial” category. In 2011, Calvo was recognized for its original “Sacatunn” ad campaign that featured an underwater orchestra and choir performing the catchy song.

The deadline to enter the competition and send entries is April 5.
