Bumble Bee Offers Health, Wellness Tips On Tuna With eBook United States, March 28, 13

Bumble Bee Foods, one of the three largest USA canned tuna brands, has introduced a quarterly eBook on health and wellness, the company said Wednesday. The new “BeeWell for Life – A Living Guide” eBook offers wellness advice, tips and recipes created in collaboration with Bumble Bee registered dietitians Stephanie Clarke and Willow Jarosh, as well as fitness coach Jennifer Grayeb and celebrity chef Scott Leibfried.

The first edition, centered around the new year and spring, includes tips on setting measurable goals, crafting a fitness routine, recipes for fast and simple meals, and tips for shopping at neighborhood farmers markets.

“The BeeWell Living Guide is an integral part of our overall brand efforts to promote healthy lifestyles and to deliver on our mission,” said Melbourne. “It brings to life our health and wellness brand platform, providing content that’s very authentic and hopefully resourceful for readers, with the help of our longtime partners, a fantastic team of wellness and lifestyle experts.”

BeeWell for Life has evolved from a consumer program to become Bumble Bee’s halo brand philosophy and marketing platform. The company first introduced BeeWell for Life in 2008 as a signature program to encourage people to exercise, stay active and eat healthier using the dedicated online site
www.beewellforlife.com. The portal offers a variety of tools and encourages healthy living by enabling users to earn points by logging exercise activities, completing wellness challenges, submitting recipes and sharing with friends. The points earned then translate to charitable donations.
